Drag Chain Conveyor
The drag chain conveyor/scraper conveyor is a continuous conveyor that uses the thrust of the scraper flights on the traction component (generally a chain) to move the granular materials along the trough, thereby transporting the materials. The drag chain conveyor can convey materials horizontally, at an angle, or vertically. The trough is sealed, so the materials do not fly, resulting in less material loss and better working conditions for the workers. It is widely used in the transportation of powdery, granular, and blocky materials in the grain, food processing, and chemical industries.
